Storage that waits. Freight that doesn't.
Two services, run out of one 6,000 square foot building in East Dundee. Most customers use one of them. Plenty use both, depending on the load.
Warehousing
A dry, secure place for your goods to sit for a week, a season or longer. Your freight comes in, gets checked against your paperwork, goes onto racking or into a designated floor space, and stays there until you call for it.
- Short-term overflow and long-term storage
- Pallets, boxes, metal and plastic goods
- Counted and checked on arrival, not just signed for
- Stored off the floor, wrapped and labelled
- Released on your schedule, in full or in part
If your own space is full for a few weeks, or you need stock held closer to the city than your main warehouse, this is what it is for.
Cross-docking
Freight that should not sit at all. It comes off the inbound trailer, gets sorted on the dock, and goes onto the outbound truck. It never goes into storage, so there is nothing to pay storage on.
- Sorted and staged by outbound destination
- Fewer touches, so less handling damage
- Consolidating several inbound loads into one outbound
- Breaking one large inbound down for several deliveries
- Useful when the delivery window is tight
Tell us when the inbound lands and when the outbound leaves, and we will tell you straight away whether the timing works.
What we take, and what we do not
We are a dry warehouse with no cold storage. Being clear about that up front saves everybody a phone call.
Yes
- Palletized dry goods
- Boxed and cased products
- Metal parts, stock and components
- Plastic goods and mouldings
- Shipments that need consolidating or splitting
No
- Food and beverage of any kind
- Anything that needs refrigeration or freezing
- Anything that must be held at a controlled temperature
For regulated, restricted or unusual freight, call before you book. If we cannot take it, we will say so on the phone rather than at the dock.
Same process, either way
Whether your freight is staying for three months or three hours, it goes through the same checks: received, counted, matched to your documents, and confirmed back to you.
You are told what arrived, not what was supposed to arrive.

Not sure which one you need?
Describe the load and the dates. We will tell you whether it should sit with us or go straight back out.
