Two services, and we do both properly

Some freight needs a place to sit. Some needs to be gone by the end of the day. We are set up for both, in the same building.

Warehousing

Short-term overflow or long-term storage for dry goods, kept off the floor, wrapped, labelled and accounted for from the day it arrives.

  • Pallets, boxes, metal and plastic goods
  • Counted and checked against your paperwork on arrival
  • Released on your schedule, not ours

Cross-docking

Freight comes off an inbound trailer, gets sorted on the dock and goes straight onto the outbound truck. No racking, no storage fees, no extra handling.

  • Sorted and staged by outbound destination
  • Fewer touches, so less damage and less delay
  • Useful for consolidation and for tight delivery windows

Straightforward work, since 2012

Fast Solutions Inc was set up to do one thing well: hold dry goods safely and send them back out on schedule. We have been doing that since 2012.

Our building is in East Dundee, a few minutes off I-90 and about half an hour from O'Hare. It is a 6,000 square foot dry warehouse, which means your freight is handled by people who know it is there. When you call, you reach them.

More about the company

How a shipment goes through

Three steps, from the first email to the outbound truck. No paperwork you have not seen before.

  1. Tell us what is coming

Send the details: what the freight is, how much of it there is, and when it lands. We confirm whether we can take it and what it will cost, in writing.

  2. We receive and check it in

Your freight is unloaded, counted and checked against your documents. If the count is short or something arrives damaged, you hear it from us the same day.

  3. It goes back out

Stored until you call for it, or moved straight across the dock onto an outbound trailer. Either way, it leaves on the date you set.

Need space, or a load moved this week?

Tell us what you are shipping and when it arrives. We will come back with a straight answer, not a sales call.
